Once a week I attend an open figure drawing session at the Museum of Art School here in Honolulu, Hawai'i that has been hosted by a small, tight-knit group of talented artists for over 25 years. All week I look forward to these few free hours, unencumbered by deadlines or the day-to-day concerns of modern life, in which I can let my charcoals and pencils follow form as they glide over my favorite art papers. And from the languid and relaxed poses of our talented models, it appears they enjoy the peaceful break as well. Above all though, I really love and appreciate that our models are comprised of folks of all shapes and sizes, college-aged up to retirees, and representing a multitude of ethnic backgrounds.

This charcoal and white chalk figure study on acid-free toned paper is part of an ongoing series of drawings from life. It measures roughly 6 x 9 inches and is a page carefully taken right from my homemade sketchbook.

Your original life drawing comes signed by me and will be shipped flat and ready to frame.

Please note: These drawings are not available as giclee prints - this work will be a real one-of-a-kind just for you!
